What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, cash, and checks for payment.

What happens if something in my home is damaged?

We take great care when cleaning, but if something is damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of your service. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured, and our team will work quickly to resolve the issue.

Does my home need electricity and running water for the cleaning?

Yes, our cleaners need both electricity and running water to provide the best service. If these are not available upon arrival, the cleaning will be canceled, and a fee will apply per our cancellation policy.

What if I’m not satisfied with the cleaning?

If you're not happy with any area we’ve cleaned, contact us within 48 hours. We’ll send our team back to re-clean the area free of charge within seven business days. Please note that we do not offer refunds , but we are committed to ensuring you are satisfied.

Do you use eco-friendly cleaning products?

Yes! Our cleaners use green, eco-friendly products. If you prefer us to use your cleaning supplies instead, just let us know.

How many cleaners will you send?

The number of cleaners depends on the size of your home and the type of cleaning booked. Typically, we send one cleaner, but if you prefer a specific number, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Can I get the same cleaner every time?

Absolutely! We know how important it is to have a familiar and trusted cleaner. We will always try to assign the same cleaner for each visit. If they’re unavailable, we will send another highly qualified team member.

How will the cleaners enter my home?

You have a few options:

  • Be home to let them in.

  • Leave a key under the mat.

  • Provide a lockbox code.

  • Leave the door unlocked on the day of cleaning.

Do you clean inside and outside windows?

Our cleaners can clean interior windows, but they do not clean exterior windows.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No, you don’t have to be home. Many customers schedule cleanings while they’re at work or away. However, please ensure the cleaners have a way to enter. If they cannot access your home, a $70 cancellation fee will apply.

We also recommend doing a final walkthrough with the cleaners before they leave to ensure you’re fully satisfied with the service.

Do you clean behind appliances or heavy furniture?

Yes, but customers must move appliances or furniture before the cleaners arrive, as they cannot lift or move heavy items for safety reasons.

Do the cleaners clean ceilings, ceiling fans, or high areas?

Cleaners do not bring or use ladders due to liability reasons. However, if you provide a small step stool (2-3 steps), they can clean areas within reach.

If you need high areas cleaned, please mention this in your booking and let us know if you will provide a step stool.

What is a deep cleaning?

A deep cleaning is recommended for homes that haven’t been professionally cleaned in 30 days or more. This service allows our cleaners to spend extra time ensuring your home meets our high standards. We suggest deep cleaning for all new customers so future maintenance cleanings are even more effective.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • If you cancel or reschedule within 48 business hours of your appointment, a $70 late cancellation fee will apply.

  • If you have recurring services and wish to pause, reduce frequency, or cancel long-term, we require one week’s notice. Less than this is considered a late cancellation and will also incur a $70 fee.

What is your hoarding & hazardous condition policy?

  • If a home is deemed hazardous or significantly beyond normal conditions, our cleaners have the right to refuse service, and you will not be charged.

  • Our cleaners do not handle biohazardous materials such as human or pet waste, blood, vomit, or urine.

How can I prepare my home for cleaning?

Our cleaning prices are based on our technicians focusing their time on cleaning, not tidying. To help them work efficiently, we kindly ask that you:

  • Clear floors, countertops, and tables.

  • Remove dirty dishes from the sink.

If you’d like our cleaners to take care of these tasks for you, please contact us in advance so we can adjust your cleaning fee accordingly.

Do your cleaners do laundry?

No, we do not offer laundry services. While we’d love to, laundry is time-consuming, and our cleaners follow a tight schedule to serve all clients efficiently.

Can I hire the cleaner outside of the company?

When booking with Sparkly Maid Miami, you agree not to directly hire or solicit any of our cleaners for home-related services.

We invest significant time, effort, and resources into hiring, training, and vetting our cleaning technicians. If you wish to employ a cleaner directly, please discuss this with our owner. Unauthorized hiring will result in a $1,000 referral/training fee, due within 7 days of hiring. Our cleaners are our most valuable asset, and we appreciate your understanding!
