Economic disadvantaged areas in Florida, such as Florida City, Homestead, Pahokee, Belle Glade, and Crescent City, represent the poverty gap between these regions and others that flourish. There needs to be a concerted effort among governments, non-profits, and businesses to address these issues properly.
